Blackwood Events are Corporate Events that span from unwinding to rejuvenating Soirees over to Day-out activities for corporations to product launches and conferences. Barbecue Friday is one of such unwinding and rejuvenating Soirees. It belongs to the initial Blackwood Events Concepts.
BARBECUE FRIDAY
Barbecue Friday, is a Thank God its Friday concept that was launched in December 2015 at the Airport Residential, subsequent once took place at Alliance Française d’Accra. There was “Corporate Barbecue Friday: Uniting Cultures” that highlights and celebrates the stories behind that formed corporate organizations that have now become a culture that connects them to everyday people.
“Every organization has a story, a culture and we are using our event to create a platform for organizations , its workers, and everyday society to socialize and network in an atmosphere that brings cohesiveness of the entrepreneurial identity and employee pride.”
It is a barbecue and grill party targeted at all corporate employees. It is based on the Thank God its Friday (TGIF) concept.
It’s a gathering where one can unwind from the stress of the corporate world. Private barbecue Friday is a chance for corporations to strengthen their employee engagement and bonding. Taking this a step further the Public Barbecue Friday is a platform for employees of different companies to socialize and network together.
The event brings corporates from different companies to enjoy the best of meat and fish in town whilst being entertained by live acts, Karaoke, a renowned DJ, Comedy or Spoken Word.

For Day-out activities for Corporations, we have an idyllic location. Located at the highest altitude of Accra, Mc Carthy Hill. Lands End is a Serene Atmosphere with the View the Atlantic Ocean from there. The premises incorporates a Tennis court, Basketball half court & Pavilion Bar.

WORKERS DAY OUT
This Employees (and Family) Day Out Activities can be a Picnic if you wish too bring along your food & drinks or let us cater for you. Rejuvenate in extensive greenery surroundings. Breath in fresh air, Enjoy the breezes listening to mellow music and being served from the Pavilion bar.
CORPORATE DAY RETREAT
This is a Team Building exercises to strengthen your teams and create bonding. We offer the specialization that we invite Keynote speaker to talk on chosen topic (Only industries Best).
The Day is divided into different sections ie. Team Building Exercises in the morning, followed by the Keynote Speaker. Later is a Barbecue offered, one has the choice of Barbecue Chicken, Pork Chops, German Sausages, Beef Khebab & Hamburger with Drinks.
This is followed by Discussions on Workplace & Family Life. As well as Positive Affirmation Sessions in the afternoon.
CORPORATE BARBECUE PARTY
A Soiree with a splendid view. Guest will receive a welcome Drink upon Arrival. Enjoy delicious barbecue chicken, pork, Hamburger & Sausages • Choose from a selection of house made sauces and add your choice of entertainment, be it Music, Poetry, Comedy, Drama Performances.
CORPORATE HEALTH
We commence by a 1.5 hours walk early in the morning, down and up Mc
Carthy Hill. Followed by stretching exercises and 30 mis Aerobics.
After which a light refreshment will be served. After there will be
various Games such as Table Tennis, Tennis, Football, Sack Racing etc.
Finally there will be a Nutritional Health talk with a fitness instructor and a healthy snack.

Spanish & Marketing) from the Oxford Brookes University in UK .
